1. Press Start Button
2. Click on the Control Panel entry
3. Control Panel will be launched

1. From the Control Panel select the Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options entry
2. You will enter the Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options category
3. Click on the Add Languages entry to launch the Regional and Language Options dialog

1. Click on the Install files for East Asian languages
2. This will launch a confirmation dialog
3. Select OK
4. This will ask for the Windows XP installation CD to get the required language files
5. Insert the CD and hit OK. This will copy all the required files
6. Select the Install files for complex script and right-to-left languages checkbox
7. Once the files are copied, hit OK on the Regional and Language Options dialog
8. The system will request a reboot

1. As mentioned in Step 1 and Step 2, launch the Regional and Language Options dialog and select the Languages tab
2. Click on the Details... button in the Text services and Input languages section
3. This will launch the Text services and Input Languages dialog
4. Click on the Add... button to launch the Add Input Language dialog
5. From the Input Language drop-down select the Telugu input language
6. Also select Telugu in the Keyboard Layout/IME
7. Hit OK and the Telugu keyboard will be added
8. Hit OK and the Telugu keyboard will be added to your system

1. Hitting OK in the previous step create a Language Bar on your system
2. Click on English to show a drop-down containing Telugu also
3. Select Telugu to enable the Telugu keyboard input

Now what ever you type will be in Telugu language. To type in English please re-select the English language. The Telugu keyboard layout is provided here.
